That is why I always vote with my wallet on franchises I want to continue seeing localized! Be it Ace Attorney or Rune Factory, gimme that good stuff <3 Preferably physical. (Especially when they both cost the same but that's a different can o' worms lol.)

How did you find out? From steamdb I know that there are two types of key available (jp/asia and the ROW), and the rules for all others game were that the keys can't be traded "up" (i.e. key from cheaper-priced region like CIS or South America, can't be activated in EU,US, but the reverse works).

Strange. Can't reproduce but it's probably because it's in different region and Fanatical annoyingly doesn't allow you change the region of the key you are trying to buy, it seems? Maybe worth contacting the support just to be sure.

It doesn't. It assumes the region for you (based on IP I presume), and I couldn't be bothered to find a VPN for appropriate country to check region restrictions from there.

I'm glad you're giving it away too! Everyone should experience this awesome series. I bought this game in particular 3 times already (for myself, a friend and to give away). Hoping Capcom sees how much money I'm willing to blow and port the rest of the series to PC and localize Investigations 2!
