it's a running gag. bad rats, uriel's chasm , Barbie doll house , dinner date , the graveyard , simulators are very bad games. they are given away as a joke tbh.bad rats have broken physics. check this . even the reviews which recommend the game are trolling.

I don't know... it's cheap, it's 'bad' which is in the name. .. I haven't played it yet, but it's a thing, not just here but on other places, forums, groups... I know someone who has over 380 hours on record. I'm not sure if they were playing the whole time or just logged in, but they have all the achievements... and it can be purchased for as low as .19 on steam when its on sale. :) I think the best part of the game are the funny user reviews...

well i guess bad rats hype is declining with all the real bad games now on steam available, but thank god there is barbie :O

When something is so bad like (name says it all) Bad Rats, then title is becoming some kind of classic. Like no one who like ski jumping ever heard about 90% of participants but maaany of them know the worst jumper ever been: mighty Eddy Eddwards! ^^

Is it really a joke gift? THANK THE GODS IT'S NOT LIKE A REAL THING OR WHATEVER. I was thinking the same thing: that people were getting super into it for some weird ratty cult reason that I wasn't privy to! Soon though, there shall be another terrible gag game such as bad rats to take over the world. FOR EXAMPLE. Ever heard of the game "Pregnancy" ? I saw it on the Steam Gifts Giveaway page the other day and went and looked it up. shivers internally

Bad Rats is a very hard game, and not in a good way. If you start level several times without modifying anything, the physical simulation will be different each time.

So basically, Bad Rats are a punishment, and a running joke around here. Like Fortix - but hey, at least Fortix IS fun =)

Bad Rats is the joke on this site. It has so many discounts that people give away this every day. The game is so... well, check the players reviews.

Amazing how many bots there are who didn't read the Ga description xD Oh well, it's kinda fun to blacklist people, so at least there's that. As far as why people give bad rats away, I think everyone has nailed it. It's a bad game and it's a gag gift.

I don't know I don't think its a good game nor is it as bad as a lot of people say "shrug"
