I would love to visit Egypt and Antarctica.

Egypt for sure.
I am not sure about Antarctica. Why would you want to visit that continent?

well for one thing, it's shrinking.

It is just such a hostile environment. And to go there for the sparse wildlife, just seems out of the ordinary. But I do see your connection with why. Soon it will be gone.

True. Maybe I'll go to Tibet first before I tackle Antarctica.

Now that sounds like an exciting adventure.

Before Arctic maybe try the Finnish Lapland during Winter. It's too boring for most (but so would be Antarctica, lol) but it's supposedly really beautiful. It's cold and harsh, but not like the Arctic because the Snow is actually more fluffy and it's not so windy. It's very quiet and isolate but there's huts you can use along the paths, it's much less hardcore than Arctic but probably just as awesome. It's where I plan to go when I got some cash reserves again. If you travel far enough you can see the Aurora Borealis as well. Plus, you get to eat Reindeer and make up for all the bad christmas presents in your childhood!
