Featuring all your favourite crops, tractors and obscure pieces of equipment with funny names that are rarely used and needlessly expensive, it is very easy to overlook the detailed plot of this game, which is thus.

You play a farmer in the UK. After a foot and mouth disease outbreak your livestock are left devastated and you can no longer receive your EU farming grant. Faced with 3 choices you must pick from the nightmarish scenarios of either continuing to work, tirelessly and, ultimately, fruitlessly, on your farm because of pride; burn it down to the ground and claim the insurance or; the most likely option, down all your whiskey supply and sit in the barn with a shotgun in your mouth waiting to pull the trigger and end your pitiful existence.

That may sound heavy, but the story is told by high-pitch voiced pigs, so it reminds you of the movie Babe and can't help but make you smile. Especially when the mice chip in.
