Absolutely, Fassbinder had a very unique style in his works. The way the characters speak and act, the sometimes awkward camera angles and particularly the way he uses mirrors.

Missing the context here, so to me this scene looked really weird. Found the movie by imagesearching this frame, because it looked cool and I figured someone on the web will post it somewhere. I do want to watch this movie now.

Wow... seems like I should watch more Fassbinder movies that are not exactly like Katzelmacher. Not that it was bad but it's vastly different from this.
Searching for "woman killed by a crane" wasn't useful maybe, but Google Image was the easy way to find the answer to this one... Without using Google Image was very hard probably.
It was super easy if you got to the hint video though. All you had to do was see The Matrix's movie connections on IMDB; they took the "phone booth thingy as an exit to the real world" straight from this movie.
