Halloween Event: Become a part of The Haunted House [LOOKING FOR GIFTERS]

Hello people of SteamGifts!

Beware, I'm here to announce you this year Halloween event:

The Haunted House

It all started from my wish to make something great for Halloween on forums and this. We gathered a team which is already working on creating the event. I can't reveal what will it be exactly, let it be a surprise for you :) But be sure that it will have a lot of Halloween inside and rooms.

We plan the event to consist of about 300 GAs though this number may vary in both sides.I see it easy scaleable from 200 to 400 GAs. Our team can create around 100, so 200 are missing. And that's where we need your help. If you are going to create GA for the event then read the next peculiarities of what is it going to be.

Dates

Collecting giveaways for the house creation starts today. We plan to finish the house until the 25th of October. The date can be slightly moved depending of your responses. It's also possible that we will open EARLY ACCESS version in case we're not ready that day (like it was with London Underground).

Giveaways

All GAs will be private and collected into the buffer list, which will be used by our team for splitting them by different parts of the house. This is made for better matching with the topic of exact house sections. You can send your links to mediums from the list below. If you want to participate, make sure to send your GAs as early as possible before deadline is reached. Deadline is the 22nd of October 23:59 GMT+2. When the house is ready we will announce it in a new forum post.

Here's what you need to do to create the house:

1. Create one or more giveaways until deadline. See requirements below;
2. Contact any of the mediums from the list below and tell them the GA link and your SG nickname. You can contact any of the mediums by sending them friend request in Steam;
3. Wait until the medium will give you the description for your GA(s). It will happen later, approximately on the 22-23 of October. You MUST update the descriptions ASAP or an evil pumpkin will come and hide under your bed. You can add your own descriptions but separate it from the given to you by the horizontal line. Your own description (if exists) should go below this line.

Giveaway Requirements

• Invite Only
• Global (not region-restricted, not group-only)
• Any level (use common sense)
• Halloween related (relevant). At least somehow relevant. So besides obvious candidates almost any dark, weird game will fit the house. We accept non-relevant games too. They will go to special section of the house. Though there must be maximum of 30-50 such games
• End date is the 31st of October. You can use the same ending time as this GA (hover the mouse pointer over the x weeks remaining, then it'll show the exact time in your timezone). Or you can not :)

You've heard a lot of frightening stories about this abandoned weird house. Finally you're hear to check for yourself whether the rumors were true. You enter the house...

You're inside the house. People say that it's haunted and it really appears to be so. You have a strong feeling that you've already been here hundreds of times, but still you notice all of the details like you are seeing them for the very first time. The hall you're now standing in is large. It's much bigger than it seemed from outside. There is not much light inside, but you see corridors going left and right from you. There are two stairwells in front of you; each leaning on one of the opposing walls of the hall, and leading to the second floor corridor. The Hall looks empty. After a short stroll through it, you manage to count that it leads to 7 rooms. The feeling of déjà vu still remains. The doors leading outside of the house are closed so you don't have the choice of going back. Why stay here when you can try to find an exit somewhere else? Why not explore this old house? It looks interesting and you should have known what you were getting yourself into when you walked inside... You try to decide on which room to go into. Suddenly...

It was so boring here but now you've finally arrived! :( Boooring. Stupid Skeleton, I hate him. How could have we ever been one?! He doesn't even want to kill you :( Why are you still standing here?! Go, for pumpkin's sake! I might leave you to die of starvation here but I think I'd prefer to kill you myself. Actually... I'm sure of it!
