Q1: purple silicon dioxide=X, transition metal with the average atomic mass of 108=Y. X + Powdered Y = answer.

I can't even do Q1... I know the X and the Y, but google still does not help in the result from the two... I truly hope not all your questions in the puzzle are of this difficulty... I feel completely lost here...

Try some others first XD personally I think Q5 is the easiest to start with. Or maybe Q8.

Nope, Q1 remains impossible no matter how I google it. But I will come back after I get some more of the other questions, but seriously this takes too much time. Only got 2, after hours.

I've the same problem than radagast82 actually. I know both X and Y yet google doesn't help me at all :/ Are you sure it still works (the googling), some other puzzle creator said the google results changed between the time he made the puzzle and people were stuck :/

Q3: Use the most obvious member of the Elephantidae family. Same for Chelonii. Google for 4 of the first and a giant one of the second together.

Q3:Keep it simple. 4 specimen of the Elephantidae and a giant specimen of the Chelonii.
