Drove from Michigan, through Ohio, West Virgina (stayed first night), Virgina, N. Carolina, and arrived in S. Carolina. Myrtle Beach was the destination. The return trip will be the same. It isn't a cross country trip, although that does sound like fun. I have been on some before and they take a lot of planning. I just booked this trip a few months ago in February.
