Please take a look at the Steampunk puzzle game Steamroll on Kickstarter!
They're likely not going to reach their goal this time around, but the game is mostly developed, and they're already Greenlit and XBox approved, so it's not like the project won't be moving forward regardless! Your support would encourage them, and may lead to a fresh Kickstarter, so if you like the game, consider letting the devs know!

Thanks for sharing Sooth. I cannot say the video really sells it for me.

Really? Huh. Do you think you could point out which things disinterest you?

In Portal there is a clear and direct feel of engagement, you have a great level of freedom within your tiny box and can goof around.
Similarly, QUBE has a feeling of directness.
In The Ball you have to drag around a ball, much of what is happing does not feel as gratifying or engaging because it is coming from an external and detached perspective.
I didn't like The Ball.
The separation from this avatar gives me that hesitation where I am unsure I will feel the satisfaction of accomplishment the same way I did in the first two puzzle games.
I am just going from a tiny video, but that doubt sure doesn't help convince me that the game is for me.
So, it looks less engaging and interesting than other games I have seen.

I'm pretty sure you ARE the Steamball, and roll it around as you please. You unlock an arsenal of various 'trick' balls that your main ball can fire, and consider how best to use those to solve puzzles.
Hmm. It sounds more like you've an issue with 3rd person as opposed to 1st person :/
That's unfortunate, but not really something for the devs to 'fix' :X
Interestingly, I prefer 3rd person games, because it gives me more of an idea of the character and environment involved, rather than some vague suggestion of where I am and what my hands are doing.
I never use 1st person view in racing games, either, but I know there are people who refuse to use anything else.
So I guess it's all just a matter of preference :X
Thanks for giving it such careful consideration! :)
