If there's one tip I would give my former self as regards buying game bundles - apart from just yelling, "STOP, who needs this many games?" - it would be to keep my eye on the Special. When bundles starting being a regular occurrence, somehow I slipped into a mindset of wanting to check out things that looked interesting, rather than doing Marie-Kondo-thinking and limiting myself to fewer and more carefully chosen titles. I think my first blind "looks interesting" buy on Steam was World of Goo, and that actually was so special and interesting that it paved the way to heaps of keys for games that really are quite good ... but aren't games that have me jumping up eagerly, ready to play.
Also, at the time I hadn't figured out yet that challenging platformers are not really a style of game I often enjoy a lot. So here's one for you! Old key, newly- revealed. Please let me know promptly if you have trouble activating it, though it should be fine.
