Wait, judging by the comments, there was a proper puzzle? I thought we were supposed to brute force. lol
On the way I also found this. :p

• First attempt letters from the chart assuming horizontal ordering
• Second attempt similar to first but assuming vertical ordering
• third attempt converted the characters to their ASCII numerical values, added one tried first ordering
• fourth same a third using 2nd orientation.
• tried Chinese zodiac found Dragonfly(dragon) Cat (tiger) Lizard (snake) , but not bear or elephant
• final try converted animals to SG usernames, ABC order of usernames with original and +1 chars

Wasn't very hard to solve, though of course I first tried the order like it was in the table before trying the order of the poll.
