Problem is, daily deals/community choice/flash sales weren't part of the Autumn Sale, and aren't going to be part of the Winter Sale, so sale prices are the same throughout the entire sale. (Apparently they allow a few exceptions, but if any exceptions were made, I'm not aware of them.)
Still, it's better to check other sites and wait until you're sure it's the best deal you can get.

Yeah, that link is a little outdated but here's to flash sales nostalgia. Getting up at odd hours for deals that were dodgy at best sometimes XD
