Do you mind telling me. If I'm even close to the actual way to do it? From - 26 to - 1 I made the equivalence Z-A and from 1-16 a-z, that's how I got the 8 letter code, am I even on the right track?
Oh, I guess the line having a total of 52 numbers confused me because yours make much more sense, the process for mine was a bit more complicated thanks for the help again :)

No don't convert the number line to key
What is the 8 letter result from crossword in order?
1st letter should be C that is yellow thus C+2 would become E, C + 2places in alphabet forward from c.
