Maybe at least space-themed shows interest you?
Are there any good new space sci-fi shows, or promising upcoming ones?
I loved the remake of Battlestar Galactica in many aspects (impressive music, for example).
The 100, maybe - it's not entirely space-themed but some of it is set on a space station. Oh, and Killjoys! I didn't get past the first episode but a lot of my friends like it.
I watched roughnecks starship troopers chronicles as a kid. I'm pretty sure tats the only space show I watched, I usually stick to reading space stories.
Star Trek Renegades is in the making (funded by fans) and I have heard that we can also expect regular version of the Star Trek series soon. :)
PS. I too loved BSG. :) Final five theme is one of my ringtones, for years now, and their version of All along the wachtower song is awesome. I still get goosebumps remembering THAT sceen! :D
Doctor Who! <3 This is my first non Asian TV show and I never looked back. This season is one of the best in a while.
And Firefly, they got cancelled way too early T_T (Actually you know what, if your haven't watched Firefly don't do it. Saves you the sadness when you finish it and realise you will never get another episode again...)

I even bought a collectible edition to watch all the interviews and documentaries - I can't measure how much I loved the show! =)
Wow, that's a huge fan right there! (: Have you watched Con Man? It's a comedy web series by Alan Tudyk and the context seems to be a parady of Firefly and his real life. I backed it on Indiegogo, but haven't got around to watching it yet.
If you haven't already watched Star Trek, they're still good to watch even though the special effects aren't good. I especially recommend the original series and The Next Generation
I always recommend The Americans.
One of the best shows I have seen lately imo.

I don't know many space shows that are new. Does Steven Universe count? There are small bits that involve space in it.
