When you smelled the salty sea breeze, you figured you might come out to see a sandy beach or something else, but instead you find that there is a rather steep incline down to a rocky tide pool. Since the cave isn't really an option, you decide to climb down.

As you step through the portal, you think you can see the glimpse of a grey furry creature. Was it a wolf? You don't have time to ponder the question as your face hits shipping container standing in the middle of the road. Slightly disoriented, you rub your aching nose. Why is this thing in the middle of the road? There is still no sign of people though, but you can hear some birds chirping in the distance. The signs on the buildings show clear signs of fading, no-one has taken care of anything here for many years, but at least there seem to be some life. You press the button again on the portal device, hoping to get to somewhere where there are people.

My clicker broken, I'm tagging along with Fnord. He seems to have this thing figured out.

You find yourself in a room that looks like something in between laboratory and private office. There is a blackboard covered with formulas, a stack of papers with coffee mug on top of it, and some old science equipment. You don't have time to look around though, as soon as you appear you hear someone shout behind your back: "Was zum Teufel?'. You turn around... Holy shit, is that Albert Einstein????
It's him. He is just like in the pictures, with his mad scientist hair and the sweater. He is obviously astonished and mad. "Who are you? How did you get here? What's going on?"

You realize, that Einstein may be the only person in the world - at this time at least - who could help you.

"Mr Einstein, please calm down, I know it's hard to believe, but I'm from the future, I got here through some kind of portal, you gotta help me..."

Door behind you opens and the woman in a night gown enters:

"Honey, what's going on"

"Mileva, this psychopath has broken into my office! We need to get better locks, I am Einstein, I have to work on my studies, not to get distracted by some lunatics! If losing my favorite coffee mug wasn't enough!"

"Mr Einstein, if it helps, I know, where your mug is"

"Where?"

"It's on top of those science papers' stack"

"To the left or to the right?"

"Relative to me or to you? Wait, there it is".

You point your hand and hear woman shouting "DON'T MOVE YOU SCUM!!". You see Mileva pulling the shotgun from her gown's folds. Without thinking, you press the button and jump into the portal.
