I got this link from your puzzle thread.
I found Q1 confusing because the answer is not the name of the song, nor the line that follows it, but another line from the song. And Q4 held me up for a bit because I removed the hyphen as your hint suggested, rather than replacing it with a space.
As for favorite fictional dwarf... would 'my player character from Dragon Age: Origins' be too much of a cop-out answer?

So, after some time trying to understand what's behind Q1 I decided to let Google really help me. And it did. Brought me to a thread with a direct link here. Having read all of the above comments I'm still unable to understand the Q1 answer (is it some variant of 'Sing, sing, sing with me'?).
Not entering but as for dwarves (guess that the right plural spelling according to Tolkien) the first thing that came to my mind was 'By Moradin's hammer' (looks like it's from Baldur's Gate).

I solved Q1 when your "try removing a letter from the phrase you think it is" hint finally clicked with me.
I don't have a favorite dwarf; maybe that's why my life feels so empty. Perhaps a dwarf in the giveaway game will become my favorite?

Glad you got it, yeah I actually thought about "swing" vs "sing"but incorrectly presumed most people knew that song very well since it's Internet Famous and would therefore just try each line, if nothing else.

DA Dwarves are a very interesting race to me, it's like they took certain aspects of archetypal dwarf culture to the least logical conclusions. However, it was refreshing to see some new spins on the tropes.

there should be multiple answers or warning that punctuation not used on puzzle at all
