I thought District 9 was really interesting. Some other more recent ones are Super 8 and Edge of Tomorrow. There's also The Thing and Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. And let's never forget Men In Black!

Nobody mentioned Star Wars yet? Although you've most probably seen em already. And I second Tevemadars choice. Touching movie.

One of my favourite movies as a little kid was Star Crystal. In my adult years I've come to realize it's a horrible movie, but now I like it in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way.

District 9 was very interesting, except for the gore but was a new form to see the aliens...

Well, many good movies were already mentioned so how about The Last Days on Mars? Oh, and Apollo 18 - if you like found footage movie you will love this one.

Prometheus is so underrated in my opinion. I loved it!

I guess 50% of scifi movies are about or with aliens....with evil ones, with funny ones (paul) and so on....
...i have to choose......hmm....hmm.....so i movie that i relly like "the abyss"
