In the video, the sword guy used his secret techniques on the fist guy and couldn't beat him, resulting in a draw, so he left, causing him to forfeit by default.
I solved the puzzle without understanding any Chinese and knowing nothing about the Chinese video games or TV shows in the videos, so it should be possible for people who have some knowledge of Chinese to solve the quiz without any further clues.
However, I do admit that I would not have gotten the answer to question 5 without the first clue.
Thanks for offering this generous prize, and please keep up the difficult quizzes, it really challenged my Google search skills :)
Wow number 2 was so hard haha! Thanks for the challenge. It took me around 40 minutes to finish all questions except number 2, and then an hour to guess #2. I also agree it would've been practically impossible to get question 5 without the hint. I'm satisfied with myself for completing this by relying on basic chinese knowledge, google translator, and the IME pad haha.
For number 2 I tried so many different methods and names, and at one point I think I even entered his full name instead of just the two chinese characters, but what ended up working was looking at the chinese name when the player hovered over the enemy for the attack. :p
By the way, I realize just now that you're one of the couple of people who abided by my Bioshock Franchise giveaway rules (read my replies on that giveaway), so I'm adding you guys (~10-20 people) to a private group that I'll probably make soon and give away some games. Stay tuned for that! :p
It took me about 6 hours total, almost all of it for Q2. I just kept searching in relation to the game and couldn't find his name. I found videos, screenshots etc. Then, as a final try, I just started looking at Chinese creation myth, about to give up. Then suddenly 'correct' :)

1) Q5 (before the hint) had me guessing for hours, once the hint was given, a simple Google search had the answer in seconds.
2) Q4 - It was a bit difficult to find his name, I kept just entering various names that were associated with the game, but none worked. I then found a website that definitively named him, and it still did not work. Then I thought the "shield" in the background might be another character and was the real person being referred to, so that took me through a whole different set of names. Eventually I decided to try to put in the Chinese version of the guy in red (to be honest I didn't think that would work because all the other questions I had answered correctly up to that point had English answers).
3) Q2 - This was the last question I was stuck on. I first looked for pictures of the character in question on any websites that had the name of the game on it. This failed. I then watched the video more closely and noticed that for very short periods, when the character was targeted, there were some Chinese "letters" that I thought might name the character, I compared it to other videos in the same series to see if the characters were different when targeting a different opponent, and they were. Then I used some programs I found online to "draw" the second "character" (which was much simpler then the first one) so that it generated the "text" version so that I could do a search for it (it was "古"). I also figured that the character they were fighting was a more general Chinese character that was not specific to the game, so I did a query of "古 Chinese myth create" which came up with several different characters, but only one matched "盤古" which looked the most like the blurry graphic from the game. It felt like a real accomplishment to get this one!
Interesting. I didn't expect people to think too deeply about question 4 like you did. Your solution to question 2 was quite clever. Thanks for your story and good work!

I don't understand the language spoken. And I'm bad at reading Chinese characters. haha.
I thought the sword guy won by slashing the fist guy and he said its a tie before he kept his sword.
That part confused me haha.
By the way, do you play the Chinese games that are translated to English or do you understand them fluently to play?

But I can't read some if not most of the Chinese characters.
Traditional Chinese characters are worse!
Spoken Chinese is still okay for me. Guess I shall just hope for a English translation patch or something. :)

Hey, took me 4 hours of work with google, but finally got here. I can't read or speak chinese, so it was kinda hard, but not impossible. :P
