A fridge is a fridge xD I don't have problem with samples or other "weird" stuff in my fridge and also don't have problem with keeping food in fridge/freezer in my workplace...
Although that's not really popular mindset...

My dad left a cup with unknown something many years ago. I don't know what to call this thing. It could be something that contains ginger, horseradish, or honey.

I keep salt in my fridge and people find this strange.

But but...
WHY?!

See, people react that way when they can't find salt in my house, but in regions with high humidity it is best kept dry in the fridge, otherwise it forms balls of salt that don't go through the salt shaker.

It makes sense, but i expected the fridge to be kinda humid.
And i guess you would have to save the sugar there to.
Where are you from btw? I must be really humid. I lived a couple months in Costa Rica and i dont remember the salt getting "funny".
