From SG guidelines:
Entering #1: Only enter to win games you do not already own, and do not enter to win DLC if you're missing the required base game.
My additional take: Unless you're a collector and want to win as many games as possible, better check the Steam page for some info and reviews on the game. There's little point in entering games you know you'll never play (trading cards aside).

As much as I love WinXP (still has the best version of Windows Explorer ever) I wouldn't use it today. The reason is that Microsoft stopped releasing security updates for it which means it's too risky to even browse the web with it. If you want to avoid malicious stuff, better upgrade to something that's still supported.

I share your pain! I had to re-roll obscene amount of times for some of the dlc-s I gifted. Some of them, I suppose never bothered to check, and some of them thought I can't know which dlc-s they own and which they don't own... they were wrong. -_-

Yes, totally agree, that's what I usually do to decide if I want to enter a GA.
Cause if you don't think you going to play the game, what's the point of entering a GA...
