When I was in 3rd grade (about 9), I told my parents I don't want to be special, I want to be mediocre. And they left me to do whatever I wanted. I am not top of the class or the country (which I could be if everyone kept pushing me to it), but I still got admitted to the best college for Computer Science in my country, we'll see what comes of me, I didn't turn out THAT bad by trying to be mediocre. I HATE people having expectations...
A lot of people who responded to the thread seemed really concerned and didn't appear to realize it was just a puzzle. When some people (who knew it was just a puzzle) responded with levity, those in the dark must have thought they were real a-holes.
If you just click on Discussions, then a subject title, you might not even realize it's in the Puzzle section.
I don't think MonkeyMan thought it was a puzzle, and he seemed rather concerned. Anyway, thanks for the GA.
