For what I've heard, it's one of the worst games ever. I think that many are giving it away ironically.

I played and 100%-ed bad rats...it was terrible
It's a physics game with broken physics...on some levels even supposed solution doesnt work :D

Well, I watched TB's video and the game looks terrible. I guess it's the price point which led the people get and give it away. You buy bunch of those, give them away, increase your steamgifts.com level and be able to reach giveaways which require higher levels. Basic.

Playing Bad Rats just like smelling the Dead Rats.

Bad Rats are not that bad, not so hard to make 100 proc of achievements

Maybe bad rats its the best game to give to your "friends" ?

it's a joke type of response a so bad that it becomes a badge of honor to win it somehow. There's the same type of obsession, or at least there used to be, with Fortix. Not that that's actually a bad game, just small and simple. I did win it at some point and it was fun for a bit. There's also Secret of the Magic Crystals which has also gotten cult status on SteamGifts.... i haven't played it at all and doesn't seem like my thing so I don't know if that falls more in the bad rats or the fortix category. But yeah, that's about it. Sorry if you've already gotten this same answer a hundred or so times but my SG++ settings don't show me other people's responses to giveaways so I'm just blindly answering.

i think it's one of this games which you buy for cards . in europe region the price is 5€ but in US is 1$ and in russia even less(before region blocade). so if it was for 80% off you could buy in russia for about 0,10$ and in US for 0.20$. Cards are worth more than that.
