You arrive at the place where the coordinates lead you but all you can see is a huge hole in the planet's surface and a big pile of scrap metal. You're already about to leave again when you see something else: Isn't there a little note pinned to the scrap metal?
You land on the planet, suit up to protect yourself from the lack of atmosphere and go to the note to read it. It's the strange language from the SOS signal again, so you ask your board computer to translate it:
Hey dude or dudette! If you're reading this because you heard my call for help and came to help me, thank you. I managed to repair the hull myself, though.
But the ship couldn't handle the weight of its cargo anymore so I had to leave a Space Quest behind. Feel free to take it as an appreciation for trying to help me. Why don't you come over for a space-coffee, space-cookies and a space-giveaway some time?
If you like you can add me on spacebook as well: spacebook
XOXOXO,
Ghffovai
This is getting weirder by the minute...

Yes, I love Pelican, they're an amazing band. I'm impressed you know Solaris as well, never met someone who knows them before. :)

The Tarkovsky version is the dreamlike stuff that I always loved, though in that regard STALKER was a better film. Yeah, it should definitely be more popular.
