I'm more excite about a horror gamw where there is option for sensor. which keeps tabs on our heartbeat. if our heartbeats are high , the game is gonna be scary. spooky atmosphere weird sounds etc. if you can remain calm you are gonna have comparatively less scary experience. Nevermind to be exact. :D

Hmmmm, I thought Groupees had the actual porn bundle, was there one at Indiegala also?
It's difficult to keep track of all the bundles, after Indie Royale died I was expecting things to slow down, but it seems not... If I were trying to sell a video game, some random bundle site that might disappear and forget to pay me wouldn't be my first choice... :)

There are quite a few, I enjoyed Sunrider Academy and Love at First Sight, and I've heard good things about World End Economica. There's also a Clannad Steam release coming up, so hopefully it gets a decent translation.
Sadly a lot of VNs get destroyed by bad translations on Steam. I was really hyped for If My Heart Had Wings when I found out they had even gone so far as to censor kissing scenes, and cutting full scenes that contained ACTUAL plot stuff without adding any sort of note as to what happened.

The worst English I've seen in a visual novel in the Steam store was this garbage - and I think it wasn't translated at all, but written originally in English, by illiterate native speakers. :)

Hmm, visual novel games can be anything, just like real novels. :) Good, bad, and everything in between... :)
This one's a pretty poor example of the genre, I think. Like an author who had one book in him, and kept writing that same book over and over again... :) I'd say these developers are lazy, but as long as people keep buying the games it's hard to criticise them for being practical about it... :)
I'd say most of the effort went to the pictures, and not the words you have to read... :) So if you look at the store page and think hmm, I want to see more of those pictures, this might be the perfect game. :) But if you're looking for Dostoyevsky, keep looking... :)

So there is hope that VNs I got from bundles may be readable ). I'm cautious when I see anime(?) style - my first exposure to it was pokemon and sailor moon tv series. Boring and stupid. That was till accidentaly I got to watch Ghost in the shell. I expect this game is to VNs what pokemon to Ghost. Most likely I'll play it and say: that's it? why anyone pays so much money for this? )

oldgrown up enough to appreciate them )More of a problem is teaching literarue in school era by era, using most 'representative' books as mandatory reading. How in earth 15yo can understand deeper, philosophical books is beyond me. More so if the author has story telling skills of wood block.
