Well that's not true, because first of all I already own Enemy Within, and second of all I don't enter giveaways. So if it were me, I wouldn't enter. But in the counterfactual situation that I wouldn't be me, but you, except thinking like me, then you would enter. Because you'd be me.

I must admit that I haven't played XCOM yet (I do own it tho) but I always see people wanting to enter just for the DLC. Is it really worth it? I'd rather see someone win owning nothing than me just for the DLC. Not trying to offend anyone or questioning your giveaway, just my opinion why I wouldn't enter myself
The problem is that Enemy Within is never on as good a discount as the base game (a problem many games have with the DLC). So if you bought the base game on a good price and you liked it, you now have to decide if you want to spend as much or possibly even more just to get the DLC. As a result, the DLC ends up being wished for by a lot of people, and not given away very often (because, again, not as heavily discounted).
Now, you can either be all noble and stuff and say "I shall leave this game to those who have not yet partaken of the XCOM amazingness!" or you could go "finally, a chance to win the bloody DLC, this man is a genius!" Personally, I'm fine with enabling either way. Otherwise I'd have to give away complete editions plus the DLC separately. (I've done that before, actually, but this time I had an inventory full of complete editions.)
Think of it this way: this is still a GA that allows people who don't have anything to enter. It just also happens to be one that DLC wishers can enter. There are typically plenty of GAs for the base game (and XCOM has been on sale a lot) so the people with nothing have more chances anyway.
When I did look for it, out of curiosity, I saw that the DLC costs a lot more than the basegame, even during the summer sale the DLC was more expensive or cost the same as the base game.
As I said I didn't play XCOM yet and I think it will take some time before I will since I have games I wanna play almost scheduled as I try to beat the backlog.
If I would've played it (and liked it) I would join for the DLC, I guess. As for now, not knowing about the DLC or if I like the game, I'd rather pass and give other people the chance. People who really, really want it. Don't think it's noble, just reasonable.
And again, I don't judge the giveaway, it's just why I won't enter. Thanks for the train! :)
I KNOW!!! I've been waiting for enemy within to be on a good sale forever, same as Dishonored dlc. Thank you soooo much for allowing poor schmoes like me who don't wait for complete packages to enter.
