Description

If you look out your window to the right, you'll see that it is now 1997. You and your family are taking a trip into the "big city." It has been over a month since your last trip here, so this is a big deal. Time to gather up all your funds and see what games you can buy. Your elderly grandmother has also come along for the day. You go to the local PC hardware store to see if you can afford any upgrades to build a new computer or update your current one. While browsing hardware, you see 3D Realms' newest masterpiece, Shadow Warrior, sitting prominently on the top shelf of the main case. You stare at the cover and want the game so badly. You tell your grandmother this is the game you want the most. She sees the ninja holding a katana and bloody, decapitated head and blurts, "Oh my!" You make your decision. Today you buy parts to upgrade your computer. And, sadly, you never did get Shadow Warrior (until nearly a decade later), but the memories are still fond.
