Congratulations. :-)
As usual with my puzzles: if you solve it and leave a comment before it ends, and then you don't win, you can ask me over Steam chat for a free ticket to one of my subsequent puzzles.

Finally! YES
By the way, "GAG" is L, not R. stuck with "glasp flags" for a long time.
And the "table" I used on wikipedia gave me completely different answers from this page

Welcome. :-)
1) Oh, dammit! Thanks, I'll mention that in the thread. (Ironic. You help me, and I reward you with improving other people's chances.)
2) If I see it correctly, the only difference between the table you mentioned, and the one on Wikipedia, is in the complementarity of the bases (AT, CG). For example, one table lists CTG->Leucine and GAC->Aspartic acid, while the other one CTG->Aspartic acid and GAC->Leucine. When using the one from Wikipedia, you have to perform the transcription yourself.

I didn't like the fact that so many people had to give up on it because the solution was wrong >_<

At the moment, all of glaspflags, graspflags, claspflags, glaspfrags, graspfrags and claspfrags are correct, so if people decide to try these, they'll end up here one way or another. :-] Also, an explanation of the error was posted in the thread, which actually makes the puzzle a liiittle bit easier than originally intended (now people directly know at least one letter involved).

Nice! :)
Finally started thinking about the structure of the thing and was eventually led to the base pairs. :)
Thankfully, had the codons down before I even realized there was music! :D
Already owned, so... you just have to hold out another five days, Radxical! :D
As always, thank you for the giveaway and puzzle!
p.s. just curious... did you use TruePianos?

I used http://www.virtualpiano.net/, the first (decent) piano I found. If I hadn't uninstalled Anvil Studio, you could have had it with a whole orchestra. ;-)

It was unfortunate that you messed up the song. Might want to remake the video, since this puzzle is pretty...difficult and confusing

Yes... make it harder! :D Full orchestral AGC chord progressions instead of individual notes! :D
I've got an orchestral library (legit) that you can run it through if you can make the MIDI! :D
(Yes, I'm ...mostly... kidding. One of these days I will have cash enough to do my own giveaways... and people will hate me.)

I hope you will include the orchestra. :-)

Solved the puzzle, but don't want the game.

In that case, see the "free ticket" paragraph above. :-)

Haha, YES!
I love you, man.
I was stuck at Pro-Glu-Arg-Arg-Gly Lys-Asn-Arg-Pro-Ser for an hour... then realised that you may have used the DNA instead of the RNA code for the music!
Too bad I'm not interested in the game, though.
Thanks for the fun giveaway puzzle :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-) As far as "not entering" is concerned, see the note about the "free ticket" that I added to the description.

So we meet again, cousin!

I can't decide which one is the cutest.

There we go. At first I thought there was some kind of weird encryption, even found something on three-letter abc ciphers which put me on the wrong track... Bacon's cipher I think it was called. Or Playfair. Meh.
The staircase hint did it though. Immediately remembered what I've been doing 4-5 years ago. Of course I had forgotten to translate the thing to RNA, because PERRGKNRPS didn't really make sense, lol. Genetics is indeed very fascinating. Too bad I'm doing linguistics now heh...
Anyway, I already have this game, but thanks for the nice puzzle and giveaway! Well done! I'll take you up on that free ticket next time, but as with this puzzle where I knew what game was at stake, I like solving them regardless. :)
To all: Zombie Driver is unadulterated fun! Feels like GTA2 with zombies. Do try it, really!

Thank you for the puzzle.
EDIT: I was the other entry, but that was more to 'tag' it than anything. So, good luck!

Weee thank you for the puzzle! I used virtual keyboard too, and knew almost immediately as I started writing down triples of G, C, and A's that it had to do with codons and amino acids and yaaaaaay! Now if only I remembered to change to RNA sooner xD.

9 minutes too late :(

Ow, that sucks. :-( Congratulations nevertheless.
