I am seeing a birthday cake icon next to my username on here, and I can only assume this means today is my steamgifts anniversary. I think I'm in a good spot to give a little something back and support a developer I care for. Dust: An Elysian Tail is one of my favorite games as of late. All artwork and programming was essentially done by a single person!
I only ask to not have everyone say "thank you." Instead, how about you tell me of a game you really enjoy, particularly because the developer(s) put forth honest effort into it? It really should. I'm looking at the page for creating a giveaway and Humble Bundle links are listed as what's allowed. At first when I pasted the link it worked, but when I hit "Review Giveaway" it failed. Whatever is going on, I'm just glad I can try to reapply the link after the giveaway ends.
By the way, is that cat in your profile pic your own? My family has 4. xD

You can put the gift link in after the gib ends. I've done a few and haven't had any problems but it will only accept keys when setting up. Happy cakeday!

And I really, really enjoy We Happy Few :3 It's getting so much hate right now, but the Developers really put their heart into the game! They're posting updates of their progrss every week, answer questions and are in general open and friendly people ^^

I really like stealth games, just working my way through the first Styx game right now (can't believe I waited this long to pick it up), probably gonna follow it up with Styx 2 since it's on sale atm on Humble.
I loved both Dishonored games even the second one with all it's problems around launch (I'll probably wait a bit to get Death of the Outsider though)

Really loved Darkest Dungeon. From an indie developer who really put a ton of thought and love into their game. Wonderful art style and voice acting, the atmosphere is astounding.

Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, maybe it isn't the best JRPG, not an epic story, not the best gameplay but I really liked this game because I felt that the devs put their soul in it especially for the whole soundtrack.
After clearing the game I unlocked a section with comments from the composers! I was really surprised and enjoyed reading all of them.

Being playing Stardew Valley and I must say that the developer has really poured his/her soul in this game :) its simple its soothing its lovely - non violent and pleasant - but its a time sink .... you can spend so many hours playing it without even realizing where it went :) A faboulous effort from what I understand is a single developer :)

I actually just watched a video on lone game devs a few hours ago and this one was heavily praised, must be really nice, a personal favorite of mine in the same department is Verde Station, really interesting one made by a single guy as well

there's many good game I could recommend but since you ask about the dev I'd say Spellweaver is a good choice. The dev teams works very hard and with constant communication with the community. You should totally check it out if you're into magic or CCGs in general ;)
