Congratulations on solving the quiz! Wasn't hard, was it?
This was my first non-ordinary giveaway, so a little feedback would be nice. :)
Also how great is asoiaf?! Can't wait for the release of 'The Winds of Winter'!

Solved it. :D Love the books and the series... It wasn't hard.
Not sure about entering, though. :)

Well, that was fast! Also you have some time to make up your mind about entering.

Thanks a lot! Nice puzzle :)

When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground. Thx ;)

Thanks, good puzzle!

Thanks.
Feedback: Questions like 4-5-6 can be harsh for people who didn't read the books in english. Though Google helps a lot for that. :)
Also, I'm not familiar with how this website works but if its possible to set several acceptable answers for a question then consider doing so for the likes of who built the wall (it was somewhat bothersome to see "bran the builder" , "bran, the builder" and "bran stark" all giving out the wrong answer response).
Comment has been collapsed.
There got to be some difficulty :> I agree that these questions aren't the easiest ones, but at least 4 and 5 are easy googleable, since Google suggests the solutions. Also they are meant especially for readers.
It is possible to allow several answers and it accepts some, but for whatever reason I didn't think of "bran the builder". "Bran" would've been enough, though. A shame there is no edit function, but I'll make a hint about that.
Thanks for your feedback :)

Tyrion's my favorite character too :o
Thanks for the puzzle!

While I can say the first question is very subjective, well done. Thank you for the gift bestowed upon the victor.

It is and the question isn't meant completely serious, either. Still he is my avatar so it shouldn't be unfair (also there a tip upcoming about this).
Thanks for the feedback :)

thank you belfour. took me a while to get question 5.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks. I've read the first three books last summer so most of the questions were easy.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the giveaway! I have never read the books and I am fairly behind on the tv show so I was kind of afraid of spoilers. I don't think I got too many though.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm glad to hear that. I was really afraid of ruining the series for people, so I tried to choose questions which are unlikely to lead to spoilers.

I got question 6 after you gave the hint. I guess it wasn't that difficult, I was just looking in the wrong direction. Didn't think of entering a person's name. I tried so many possible quotes and answers, lol.
Also, thank you for doing this giveaway. :) I love asoiaf.

Yeah this "question" was a bit vague.. I hope the "nickname" part of the hint doesn't make it too easy, though.

Thank you for the chance at this, as well as the awesome trivia =D

Thank u! Really nice puzzle ;)

A fantastic series of books :-)

As one who read the books in portuguese, I found some questions fairly hard and had to brute force my way through them.
As a recommendation for further giveaways, I'd suggest making questions with universal answers, that aren't changed based on the language. Aside from that, nice quiz.

I see your point and I'm gonna consider it in the future. But for this one there wasn't really that much that I could have done, without excluding three of the questions. That I didn't wanna do, since these phrases are kinda like a running gag for some people :)

I only managed to crack #6 because of the hint! Like yifski, I entered all quotes and phrases I could think of that involved "bugger" (including "bugger this trivia indeed" lol), but I didn't think of the character :) Thanks for the chance.

Egal, was hilft das meckern?
Achso, ja, wenn du versteckt sagtst:
Hidden giveaway in the EURO 2012 thread, just read my last comment there ^^

Ach ja kam in dem Kapitel schon der "reek, reek it rhymes with meek" Teil?
Comment has been collapsed.
Comment has been collapsed.
Schinken?

VERY nice quiz! Took some time for some questions...
Comment has been collapsed.
Question 1 is subjective.
I have no idea how I got question 5 or what it means.
Comment has been collapsed.
Of course it is. But the quiz is made by a guy with a Tyrion avatar, so it should be ok. (Also I'm not sure if he even is my favorite character)
Do you read the books? Martin uses the phrase quite often. "Words are wind" and "little and less" are further examples of this.

Solved it! Only finished the first book and watched all 2 season's of the show. And managed tod do it without spoilers. :) Thx for the awesome puzzle and giveaway.

Finally solved question five--actually had to scan through a few books to find a phrase that seemed to work (:
Thanks for the puzzle!

Thank you, but question 6 was offensive for non-english native speakers...
Comment has been collapsed.
If by offensive you mean slightly harder, by native speakers you mean readers, then you're right :)
I mean it was enough to enter "bugger asoiaf" into google to find a site named after sandor.

Thanks Belfour for this A Song of Ice and Fire quiz!
I was stuck on Q6 until I found this.

Thanks for the giveaway! I loved the puzzle, it was a good combination of easy things (like, if you only watched the show) and hard questions (for people who read all the books).
