Review: Age of Fear: The Undead King

Age of Fear's new album: The Undead King is the band's first since reforming with the original line-up.
After a 15 year hiatus, Age of Fear still belts out their distinct sound on most the tracks, but Teethy McBottoms (lead singer) has difficultly reaching the high notes that he so easily attained before (on such classics as: "I Stepped on a Nail" and "Who Can Scream Louder").
The first two tracks ('There's Something Sticky in My Pocket' and 'Don't Let Mom Catch You Swearing') are the highlights of the album, and harken to the bands halcyon days when they could do no wrong.

Unabashedly reunited to chase the nostalgia money, tracks like 'Dance, Dance, Give Me Loot' and '3hree Concerts in 1ne Knight...Just Because' seem to be blatantly rubbing their fans noses in their willingness to hand the band their wallets.
Although this album is nowhere as good as their first two albums ('Demon Holding a Sword' and 'Creepy Guy in a Van'), it's light years better than their experimental hip-hop album ('MC Age of Fear: We Don't Need No Water, Let The Fire Get Higher').

Final Verdict: Despite 'The Undead King' not being a classic, it's better than not having a Age of Fear album at all.
