Well, given that the X-ray moves break spines, shatter skulls and do all other kinds of generally life-ending things with no apparent lasting consequences... getting kicked in the head probably does nothing special.
If it makes any difference, this is a gift copy, not a key. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid you're just going to have to vote for a better government. :-P

According to SteamDB, this should activate in Germany. You can't buy it, but you can activate it. A quick search on the forums seems to confirm this.

Just have to see then. From what I was able to find they changed it later so even foreign keys could not be activated i.e downloaded.
