I loved the Broken Sword franchise :) First two were amazing...the last one wasn't that good but still good enough and had nice art. Thank you for the chance at Monkey Island - never played it and really should :)
Oh the Broken Sword games were absolutely fantastic, as was Beneath a Steel Sky which was by the same dev (highly recommend that if you haven't checked it out). It's a shame Revolution took the route they did with 3 and 4 but at the time many developers felt full 3D was a necessity.
I haven't so thank you for your recommendation! :) Yeah I didn't mind at that time since I only wanted more Broken Sword but I'm glad they went back to the root with the last one. Oh just remembered both Syberia games - I'm still waiting for the third one :(
I guess Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars and The Smoking Mirror. I've actually played them on every system I had. Even on a PSP through ScummVM.
Also loved Curse of Monkey Island :D
There are too many.... from the top of my head i think of Broken sword like everybody here :P runaway, Grim fandango ofcourse, I really love the Blackwell series too (and most of wadjet eye game) on another kind of adventure games i really like tex murphy tesla effect (i am still getting into the old ones, dont be mad at me) and shadowgate 64. the longest journey was GREAT too... Oh and sam and max was really cool... god damn it op, why do you make me choose >.<
also to note: Hollywood monsters is for some reason the first game i though when i think of "first game i ever played" tho i know if not true because it was just a demo on my copy of Sacred Gold (my first non pirated game !! around 10 years ago) and there were a lot before as far as i remember

I don't have a clear favourite, but I've missed a lot of the classics. But recently I decided that it's' time to change that! I'm planning to buy Grim Fandango during the next sale and probably some other titles. I'm also waiting for the remaster of Day of the Tentacle, even though I don't know much about it. But I heard it's one of the best and it's enough for me. ;)

I've only recently got back into adventure games, so I'm not sure, there are still so many I haven't played yet - I do have fond memories of Rent-a-Hero and Zork: Grand Inquisitor (or something like that? No idea, they were in German ^^)
A bit of nostalgia but "Twin Kingdom Valley" was my favourite. First adventure game I can remember completing way back in the mid 80s on a BBC Micro. It was the one and only time I can remember pretending to be ill so I could skip school to finish it.
Grim Fandango,or Monkey Island 2? or Monkey Island 1? I think Grim Fandango & monkey Island 2? I don't even know,oh and how about Loom or Indiana jones and the fate of atlantis! ... Ok I'll stop remembering old games now :P My fav list seems to be more than 1 it seems :P
