Still prefer the Castlevanias with 2D gameplay - for some reason the transition to full 3D hasn't worked out particularly well in most cases. (the N64 3D games were pretty bad, the PS2 ones were better but still mediocre. Lords of Shadow 1 & 2 are the best attempts and all in all pretty decent games, but they're still far from flawless.)
