Description

My standard CHALLENGE:

I will whitelist anyone who has made (public, unrestricted) giveaways at all of levels 0 thru 10.

Why do I think it's important to reward people who do giveaways across all levels? Because leveling up is a reward for doing giveaways, but that only means something if there's a variety of giveaways to enter at all levels. I reward people who reward that spirit.

If you qualify, let me know with a comment below, or ping me at any time in the future when you do qualify.

I've made giveaways for levels 0-8, some have region lock because well, steam, but anyway (not asking to be wl'ed tho as I do not meet the requirements :b), just wanted to say I really agree with your reasoning, plus it's boring to just stick to giving to those in your same levels or those on the higher levels, oh, and thanks for the game, really wanna try this one :)

Edit: 0-9 actually, the level 8 was part of train tho, so that one is in fact restricted.

I hadn't considered region locks since I rarely see them. I guess I would count those as regular GAs in most cases.

I hope I have the pleasure of whitelisting you in the not-too-distant future. Best of luck to you on this GA.

Yeah, I guess most of the people around here are either from Europe or USA, the regional thing is good since it really makes games affordable according to a country's economy situation, I mean I don't mind paying the price I get for most games (as you can see by the amount of games I have, even tho I'm pretty sure about half of those were free), but I certainly would not pay the rwo price for a lot of games, it just doesn't make sense to my financial situation :b

I might do a couple of giveaways for the higher levels later after selling some cards as I'm pretty much broke rn ._.

No worries, my friend. Being broke is something I am well familiar with ;)

I'd never realized the region locks had to do with different pricing. Makes sense.

Your challenge is new and interesting! But I don't know if I can bring myself to do public giveaways again, after encountering multiple rule breakers that I couldn't reroll.

But I like the way you think, and this challenge is going to be on my mind.

Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough, but the only real cheaters I've noticed are the re-gifters, and they get caught soon enough. I sympathize with your annoyance, though.

Still, glad to have piqued your interest in the idea. Best of luck to you.

They get caught, serve a temporary ban, and that's the end of it. We used to be able to reroll those winners, but not anymore. That's what I keep running into. :-(

I can see a ban being temporary for the first time, but sweet hell, they let that happen multiple times? That's one effing silly admin policy.

You are right... I have come to think so myself and yet haven't made GAs for lvl 7-10, I have to stop postponing it you know :P

My whitelist challenge is open-ended, so don't feel rushed. I look forward to adding you.

Oh don't worry, I wouldn't do it for a WL spot but rather to be grateful to the higher ups who keep this site going with their generosity :]

PS: WL spot would be lovely tho :3

hmm another reward for doing giveaways?
usually the base reward is making others happy <3
but a small extra reward sounds nice also ^w^

my favorite quote tends to be pay it foward <3

Oh, I agree completely. Doing giveaways is its own reward.

But as you say, it doesn't hurt to have an incentive system, and my challenge is about helping that incentive system to work as intended.

so what is the challange specificly, bit on the tired side over here sadly.
so not fully understanding your meaning sadly of the challange.

The idea is for those doing giveaways to spread them across all levels. Do a GA at 0+. At 1+. At 2+. Etc, all the way up to 10+.

Ideally, I think, you do this on an ongoing basis, and it doesn't need to be evenly spread. But for the sake of simplicity my challenge is just to have done at least one of each. Whether people continue to spread their giveaways around afterwards is up to them.

so the idea is basicly to try and get people to do giveaways of various levels, so that those who do giveaways have a higher chance of winning.
like something in return for all of there hard work,i like it.

except for my main driving force is mainly to help those who cannot afford such things, or rarely can.
which too bad cant setup giveaways specificly for those with low amounts.

but giving a return gift for those who do so much is a good cause also <3

Yeah, it's all ultimately toward the same goal of encouraging the spirit of generosity.

wish more people who can would help others more, but these days so many are greedy or only think of themselves.
glad that this site thrives, showing that we still have so many out there willing to help others ^w^

Thanks, ProceduralTexture!
(Just a newly-minted level 4, here - I never really think of doing giveaways above my level. I'll have to keep that in mind.)
