My sister was a huge fan of Peter Steele and I had to go with her to a few record signings and gigs. He was a really nice guy and one of the few people taller than me. It's sad he isn't around anymore, but I will always be happy to remind people about Type O Negative!
That's a shame about horses, I haven't spent nearly as much time around them but I've been fortunate enough to go riding a few times, the best was when a college girlfriend invited me to her parents ranch in college and I spent every day for a week on horseback.
