I've loved the whole series, even though some things in it is a bit silly.
I particularly remember a passage where I fought against the soldiers in rooms with shelves with gear stored on them. I was thinking to myself: "Yeah c'mon you (derogatory female genitals), I'm going to kill the lot of you" when a barely visible entity came in through the walls and skinned them alive in front of me, spread their innards high up on the walls, all in a swift moment. Too swift for me to react at all, but with fear...
Beforementioned female now turned into a maternal figure whos skirt I desperately wanted to hide behind, I sure as hell did not want to proceed into that room!
I've recently started to play the F.E.A.R series and I've to say it has one of the best AIs that I can think of. Way ahead of its time
