So I don't know if this game is ordinary junk, boobie junk, or even that rarest of things, the "OEL" visual novel on Steam that's not any kind of junk at all... :) Yeah, the smart money is on "boobie junk" but feel free to correct that impression if you've already played it... :)

Your impression would be correct. Sword of Asumi was good but I made the mistake of Kickstarting a couple of others hoping to see some good stuff but they're really screwing the pooch on those. One of the few Kickstarters I'm regretting.
I still threw points at this game just for the opportunity to see how bad it really is. I'm the person who loves to watch those SyFy movies because they are so bad.

I'm thinking at this point, with the exception of Obsidian (Pillars of Eternity) and Larian Studios (Divinity: Original Sin) that I need to not Kickstart anymore video games. Even at the low pledge values, it's not worth it because it's going to be on sale at some point and it's not worth the risk and the wait.

For what it's worth I played the demo of Princess Evangile and it seemed alright despite the eye-roll worthy setup. A dramatic departure from Beach Bounce anyways in that there was actual storytelling, character dialogue that wasn't just "blush hihi. stick it in". The only negative review in English seems to complain that it's too long?. It seemed interesting enough that it'd stand on its own with the naughty bits cut out.
According to their patreon (91 backers / $1,234/mo), AJTilley/Dharker Studios '[work] with many artists' and '[commission] the creation of various adult artwork' to 'release games every 1-3 months'. Explains the vast differences in style. Not sure if they have many writers or it's just a one man show.
I may or may not enter this one. Sword of Asumi seems to be fairly well received so maybe there's some hope this won't be junk.

Well, Beach Bounce is one of those cheap visual novel knockoffs, right? I think most of those "developers" aren't even trying to make a complete game, just a bunch of boobie picures with enough words to connect them together... :)
I think it's probably safe to ignore anyone complaining a visual novel is too long... :) That's like complaining Call of Duty has too many bullets... :)

It sounds like they've been having issues with artists and has been causing major delays in releasing games. I've just been more and more disappointed with the AJTilley/Dharker Studios work. Echo Tokyo looked promising but I'm beginning to wonder if they'll ever finish it. The decision to split into two different entities didn't really make sense.

Well, HuniePop was a boobie game, but it was also a real match-3 game... :) Not just a lazy boobie pictures game... :) Most of the boobie games in the Steam store are pure junk, where the developers didn't even try to make a real game... :)
I don't know anything about this Highschool Romance game, but I really don't care about another visual novel set in Imaginary Japanese High School... :)

HuniePop was a lot of fun and challenging! I was perfectly fine without the nudity in the game, but I didn't turn away in disgust when it was added into the unpatched version.

Reminds me of another game I played a long time ago X-change. By a weird potion that spills on you, you change from a male into a female. It has also different parts, pretty neat game =] Only for adults though. I hope this game is similar to this one, with the big difference that you are only wearing a disguise.
