Thanks for the GA.

I want to advice that you set a minimum level for your future GAs because each one that gave one, not free, game is, at least, level 1.
Easy solution to hold the worst rulesbreakers, win resellers, autojoiner user and bots outside (40% of the level 0 accounts have infractions for unactivated or multiple wins + the ammount of used autojoiners are much more as in higher levels).
And besides that it lowers the cases of problems with your winners.

You can check accounts/your winners with:
http://www.sgtools.info/activation
http://www.sgtools.info/multiple-wins

If someone have red marks there request a reroll and put the link(s) into the support ticket.

https://www.steamgifts.com/stats/community/users
Scroll down to the bottom and look at the "per level" info and you see 970k are level 0, only around 165k have a level, 113k of them are level 1. So around 15% of the members from sg gave something and only 4% gave more as 5 games.

Have a nice day

Well that is one hell of a useful advice, thanks, I'll keep it in mind for my upcoming GAs.

I keep seeing you on giveaways set to level zero, are you a mod or just a concerned citizen. I'm not discounting your advice, honestly, it's pretty good, but I am curious about the history behind you posting this.

I be no mod but one of the biggest, and i think the most known, hunter of all the abusers and exploiters (black sheeps).
I checked many thousands of accounts very deeply and i think i know nearly all tricks that gets used for cheating in the one or other way on sg (and all sites that are connected with sg in some way [as examples freebie sites]).

That means i know, a lot, of the multiaccounters (on sg and multiple freebie sites), the autojoiner users/accounts (often they use more as one account) and i know that only something can change when people realize how extreme the ammount of autojoiners etc., on sg, are.
When more users start to check their winners and report all with red marks, not important if that ones are 4 years old marks or not -i catched a lot with very old infractions that never got reported-, it can only lead to a more fair site with lesser ammounts of people that abuse it. And that is in the end for all a positive change.

I think a good step SG could take is setting the default level of a person's giveaway to level one, and making it a decision to have to lower it to zero. Though I do wonder if people would just make their bot accounts giveaway a cheap bundle game, thought imagine all the giveaways caused by people trying to game the system, which would be a huge spike in giveaways.

sg could take a good bunch of good steps but most likely that will never happen because the owner is lazy.

I would set the lever higher because it give a lot of accounts that gave only freebies away but because not all are marked direct as freebies, a mod must see the freebie or get a add game ticket for it and then change it in the database to free, they have level 1 or 2 before a mod have the chance to reduce that.
And when someone give enough freebies away, he will be always on a level because the mods can't be fast enough and in some cases the mods not see freebie on site XYZ, so people get over time from free games something too, as long as they aren't marked as free on sg.
Not enough, active, mods on sg to handle all.
From me are a bit over 450 add game tickets unhandled at the moment.
