I am not a man given to nostalgia. I live in another city and when I miss my family I call them on the phone.

Personal losses that is something else.

Nostalgia? Not sure how to answer that. I'm weak to it and because of that I try to avoid the best I can. Buf if I think about the old times I always happen to be alone and don't push those thoughts away, I kinda embrace them? It's best to stay in the current time but sometimes you can and should reminisce about your silly past :)

Hmm not really to be honest. I'm 25, so maybe that will change when I'm older, but right now I'm just really happy with where I'm at in life. So I don't really spend much time dwelling on the past.

I've recently started to play a game again that I used to play back in high-school, and the nostalgia hit for sure. It's nice to go back to something familiar when we are in a world that is constantly forcing change onto us.

I kind of like the feeling of nostalgia? I don't think it's painful or that the past was better than the present is; I just enjoy thinking back to old times and I may even miss those but that's just a reminder how precious the people are or were and how good it is to be alive.

I do feel nostalgia sometimes and I kinda like it! People often mistake it for sadness but it's not the same. It's a thought of good old times, people who were fun, things who I used to do or experience. It's true that these things are now in the past but hey, that's how this life is, it constantly moves on.
So the feeling of nostalgia is inherently connected with the good stuff. In its core it cannot really be sad thing.

I feel nostalgia right now. And my plan to fight it is just to finish Pathfinder Kingmaker many times and after that I will do a nostalgia boss battle so I will play Star Wars KOTOR 1 and 2 and after that Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and I can only hope that my nostalgia demon will be satisfied.

The way I get nostalgia I think is usually when I hear a piece of dialogue or some very moving music I remember I get a sorta save wash over me and it makes my hair stand on end and I love it. It leaves me so happy and satisfied in the moment.

I took care of my grandpa closely during his last few months. Sometimes those moments come back to me.
And I'll take a look at those memories and examine what I did right and wrong.
And how to prevent making the same mistake again.
Handle my nostalgia with rational thinking I guess.

I do feel nostalgia every once in a while especially if you grew up in a different culture and then lived half of your life in a different one, you can re kindle the past, having a drink, playing a song, reading a book, watching an old series or film or even playing a video game, however the next day, when I wake up I do focus on the present and try to create new good memories or engage in activities for the betterment of my future.
Now that I have a son I do try to show him cool things from the past and I get to re-live them through the sparkle in his eyes.

The best nostalgia is when I see my son experience things for the first time. Showing him the games I played as a kid, teaching him to play baseball, etc...
