Planning to give away some good things next month, but first I want to be sure no evil thanksbotters can enter. Solution? Temporarily blacklist them! :)

Ahh, but who is a thanksbotter and who is just lazy? After all, everyone always says they typed those 1000 identical comments by hand, each time. :)

How about like this: Everyone who enters this giveaway should comment with the following sentence, and nothing else:

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.

Any other comment, or no comment at all, means you're going to miss all the good (?) stuff coming later. And I'm going to feel just terrible about it. Oh wait, no I won't. :)

If I'm feeling friendly I will wait until the giveaway ends to blacklist those evil bots - thus giving everyone time to notice their mistake and write the proper message. But maybe I'll be a big jerk and start adding them right away. :)

p.s. I may reply to the thanksbotters with some snarky comment, but I'm not going to reply to the coconuts messages. Sorry about that. :(

After one day I was only able to add 48 people to the "had no coconuts list." :) And remember it's temporary, although if you can read this, you weren't blacklisted and already know that. :) Continued good luck, humans! :)
