It ain't how hard you hit; it's about how much you can take, and keep moving forward. You gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that.

The pic tells the absolute truth; I remember a bit after my grandma was diagnosed with alzheimers. She was really small and kind granny but when she didn't remember where she was, who the people were around her etc. It really was a struggle (mentally to us, sometimes even physically to the nursing home staff). Can't really say I miss those times but it is ok, we still have the memories of the better times :)
