I just do what I'd want others to do. Giveaway descriptions don't need to all be copy-paste, they're an opportunity to share what you know and love. Technical stuff, cat gifs, whatever.

You never know where things will go when you spark a conversation. You might learn something new, or experience something that you wouldn't have if you didn't have somebody to show it to you.
