I am deadly scared of drowning since early childhood, so some parts of this game were definitely hard for me =) Playing through it helped to relieve some anxiety =)

And yes, water physics are fun in there) It's a shame the game ends so abruptly, though.

I didn't even know i had this game on steam, I've only played it on Xbox. I'm gonna try to finish it on PC now. Maybe. Probably not.

We're in the same boat. I have it on my old 360 as well as on steam and still haven't gotten much past the part where the city starts exploding. I'll have to revisit it sometime. This was by the way the first game that simulated water realistically as a flowing substance instead of just a surface polygon.

Hmmm, no story here? Let's continue from where Duckiedoodle left off...

Putting your entirety through the portal may have been a bad decision, since it snaps shut behind you. The salty breeze of the ocean assails your nostrils, but you still can't see anything. The sound of dripping water can be heard intermittently over the distant roar of the ocean. The damp chill makes you realize that you are in a cave, and you crawl forward carefully, trying to find an exit.

You "spawn" under water, with the mustached man still on your back, as soon as he realises the danger you put the both of you in he releases your arm and the both of you quickly swim towards the surface. Once the surface reached he points his finger towards a small rock " Let's go there, we don't know what's lurking under water!"
The two of you are on the rock catching your breath when some bubbles starts emerging on the water. "Quick use this remote of yours! I don't want to find out what's causing this."
You quickly use the remote control to create an other portal, the mustached man put his hand on your shoulder just before the two of you step in the portal....

As you step through the portal, you find yourself standing knee deep in water. is this a later or earlier point in time? You can't tell. The entire city is flooded, and you don't see any people. This city has been deserted for decades at least, possibly centuries. At least there seem to be some life here. The ground you stand on is slick with seaweed. You decide to not stay here any longer, the water is cold and you don't know if it's safe to stay here. As you press the button on the device, a new portal appears.

You fall off the portal. Ice cold water kicks the breath out of you, and for a few second you are floundering about helplessly, almost drowning. Finally you manage to climb atop some debris floating on the water. It's a door. You wonder why is there perfectly good door floating in the water, but then you notice big cruise ship drowning in a distance, people are clinging to their lives in water and... is that fucking iceberg?..

You are wet, and you are freezing in the cold air. You notice that a young couple is swimming towards your door. Getting away will both save you from the cold and give them the chance to save themselves: the door obviously will support both of them weights. You click the remote and, hesitating for a second, dive into the new portal. You will miss the door. It was a nice door.
