Happy Birthday oh cutest of birds!

I wish you all the best and have hope that we may soon be able to play some games together :)

To everyone who enters
Instead of the normal thank you, how about you tell me about some game characters who you think have a really touching relationship, be it romantic or as friends? I'd like that :>

I apologize in advance that I likely won't be able to answer your comments, as I'll be away from home for a few days. That doesn't mean I won't take a look at them ;)

Final Fantasy 7: Cloud and Aerith, but it ended before it even began i guess.
And even though you didn't want it.....I don't want to forget my manners, sooo THANK YOU! :P

Ah, you chose a nice classic.
They really just kind of clicked, didn't they? :)

And I'm not saying I'm against receiving a Thank You, but cute relationships are so much more fun :D

Good luck with the giveaway!

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I am reading the Myth Adventure series by Robert Asprin, and the relationship between the main character Skeeve and his partner Aahz is touching at times.

I read that as Robert Aspirin (a headache medicine) >.<

I've never heard of the series before, but the bit of research I made makes it look really interesting! :D

I had to look them up, as I never watched nor played The Walking Dead, but from the pictures alone you can tell that they must really care for each other :)

Best of luck with the giveaway!

Usually I can't help, and I really identify myself with movie characters or gameplay protagonists if I like the characters. :)
So not as a friend, but a real hero worth adoring: Dust from Dust: The Elysian Tail.
Or on a truly friendship level: "Fly-catcher" in The Wolf Among Us. While the Frog Prince had almost no role in the game, he really felt a developed, likeable character.
Kind of romantic: Jenny. Jenny from Darkness II, a gore-splattered, violent shooter. She's just..mesmerizing. The game is played from his boyfriends', Jackie's perspective - the game is strictly first person from the start, to the end. Jenny was killed before the start of the second implementation of the game, yet Jackie hallucinates (?) her really often - once you even have a chance to share a romantic dance with her for minutes - still from first person view. The game does excellent job at character building, so you can feel Jackie's everlasting love and fond memories of The Girl, who was so, so clearly The One - a girl who really loved him - not the usual, over the top way of love in games, but in the deep, connected, yet silent type of love. And it rubs on you, a lot. I don't know if this game, this SHOOTER could be played without feeling any emotions - and because of this, you'll long after Jenny, you'll miss her, just as Jackie does. ( This game is I think the number one on my "games that proved to be LEAGUES better than I thought before it's start)

I have to confess that I don't like Dust (the game) much. I played a bit and respect the work the developer put into it, but it just didn't click with me. I have a mad Fidget emoticon if you'd like that :)

The Wolf Among Us... another game I didn't get far into xD
But that's mostly because of Steam messing up :(
The beginning was a bit slow, but I was at a part where the game was finally starting to pick up! I don't think I met the Fly-Catcher yet though.

Wow, now I'm interested in Darkness II. What you described sounds really wonderful! Maybe I'll get someone to trade it with me :)

Thanks for taking the time to leave this message!
Good luck with the giveaway ♥

Thank you for you thoughts and the picture :D
I really don't mind if people don't like my games, as long as they don't start a rant about it sucking without even playing it, or giving any reason, just labelling it shit, for example :) Civilized discussion's fundamental part is that people have different taste or opinions, and while it's hard to be objective when it comes to our favourites, able to be objective pays off in a long run. For example Dust's combat system most definitely could use a few more extra combo, but after a while, I felt like it has a combat system that resembles the flowing water. WIth your airborne dust storm you can dive enemies, though if they shoot towards you, they will hit you (died a few dozens of times because of this :D ) but if you stop it, you'll keep your momentum, so you can go back from the another side, and so on - it's complexity lies in the possibilities, and if somebody likes a more combo-heavy game, I can absolutely understand they don't like it - or something like that :) This will be a long day 9-13 working in the labour, 13-15:30 little break, 16~17:30 lab again, then tutoring :D + the heat. One or more reasons contribute for me being so talkative and little hard to follow now :D

We never really hear much about it but Ser Cauthrien and Loghain from Dragon Age: Origins. She's loyal to him to a fault. If you read the codex for her there's a bit more info but I think there's a lot more going on there than the game shows. Not even insinuating any romantic feeling. Just from a loyal follower to her leader kind of relationship.
