Description

When you step out of the elevator you're welcomed by the sight of a real man cave. Looking around the room you can see game tables, a bar and what looks to be a small office on the side. Where do you want to look for clues on Nordh's whereabouts?

Pool table
Hint 1: Ball values, no math.
Hint 2: This uses a positional numeral system with a radix of the amount of balls in the above image.
Hint 3: Google the above sentence, replacing everything after "radix of" with the actual number and remove the first two words. That leads to the cipher used.

Poker table
Clarification, the repeat cards are for the sake of reducing the load time. If I had used all 52 separate cards, it would take 5 times as long to load the scene, not to mention I would have filled up my quota of MB that I can use on that site. :)
Fixed hand #4.
Hint 1: Dealer's position.
Hint 2: Card value has no relevance.

Dart board
Hint 1: Standard dart scoring system.

Bar
Hint 1: The code can be found on a bottle.
Clarification since some numbers can look like letters: 4 numbers, 4 letters. Where A is a number and B is a letter, it's ABAAABBB.

Solve the 9 different puzzles to get codes consisting of 8 alphanumeric characters that you use on itstoohard.com.

I think i need a manual...dont even know that there is puzxles inside each item...

The Baconian Painting in the office has a quite clear manual for deciphering it, just apply the information on the right side of the painting to the leaves marked with 1,2,3 and use the deciphering codex on the left to read the code. That might be a good start. There are also solutions for old cases in the steam group that might help you understand what to look for.

Ok I got for starters 2/9 (poker/darts) and have no idea what you expect me to find in the bar. It's supposedly the easiest according to solver number, but I really don't get it for now since I couldn't find anything... Didn't check the rest yet.

EDIT: Never mind, found but trouble due to bad quality. Can't tell letter from number zzz.. Especially 2nd one..

Thought symbol 3,4,5 would be the hardest, which is why there's a clarification about how many numbers/letters there are in the hint post. Also, the quality of the text is intentional to match the quality of the image, otherwise it sticks out like a sore thumb. :P

I guess that's understandable. Maybe I'm blind I just feel stupid to have found it and not being able to understand for sure what the symbols are on positions 2 till 4-5 as you say. I tried various combinations and none worked. Hint doesn't really help since too many symbols can not be seen well...

Since one of the characters quite clearly have a dot over it (when you're viewing it at exactly 100%), I didn't think anyone would confuse that with a number and the last 3 characters don't resemble any numbers at all, so I thought it would be obvious which 4 characters are numbers and which 4 characters are letters, and based on that information shouldn't be too hard piecing the shapes together.

Or perhaps it's just me that have an eye for such details since I'm working with graphics and everything needs to be pixel perfect. :) Either way, seems like it's still one of the easiest puzzles here. :)

Grrrr.... Everyone seems to be able to get this but not me. What does it say about me that I saw the poker game and the pool table and the pool table nearly immediately, but I am really struggling with the bar.

If you can't find the characters, or if you found the characters, but just can't seem to read all of them, try an alternative way.

Yes, When it came out, I found the first 5 codes in Book Mountain (and enjoyed it). Though, I never found the supersecret giveaway in that puzzle. I tried to use similar methods here, but due to stupidity and blindness, I cannot see it. Sigh...

I will go away and put my feet up and look at it again tomorrow..

It's not at the end of the file in clear text like in book Mountain. But it is possible to find the code in similar fashion.

Only pool left in this one. Definitely the only hard one in these first ones.
EDIT: I already had the ball values calculated so I guess this hint was too simple for me... (solved now)

Finally I solved the pool! I understood how he decided two days ago, but could not gather my thoughts and decipher correctly, maybe because I was tired.
Thank you for another excellent series of puzzle-detective! :D

I didn't expect to see a 3rd hint in the pool btw. I truly thought that hint # 2 gave it completely to be honest. It was a super tricky puzzle though. Definitely original . xD

There are some easier and some harder puzzles. You can check the stats in the main thread for which puzzles most people have solved and which have fewer solvers. Might get you a bit of a push to at least a few more GAs. :)
