During WWII, USA black women had less rights/benefits/privileges than white women. Some white industrial women workers refused to work with black women because they were "dirty or diseased" and demanded separate bathrooms.

He was the only foreigner at this time that received the highest distinction during the war!

Yeah, it's shameful that a war profiteer and Nazi is remembered for his other aspects. People tend to forget that John Wayne, Walt fuckin' Disney, and Charles Lindbergh all made supportive noises about Hitler prior to WW2. And IBM made lots of money selling their business machines to the third reich:/
