Celebrating my 3000th game, four years on SteamGifts, and my journey to Level 7!
I've heard the ending of this one is unfortunately a cliffhanger and publishing rights are not in the hands of the creator in order to make a proper sequel. And the Kickstarter for a prequel didn't reach its funding goal. But hopefully the main bit of the game is still a good one for classic adventure fans -- it's one I've been meaning to play for ages now.

I enjoyed it a lot, despite the fact that it's a part 1. I still grin when I think of this one :D

For some reason, it reminds me of the Discworld adventure. :-) Thank you!

That's another one that needs to arrive on Steam! I think I either had it during my piratey days or I played the demo of it -- that and maybe Simon the Sorcerer. And all the Zork games.

Well, Simon is at least available on GOG, and the Zork games too, so no availability complaints there. But I really miss Discworld. :-)

I am relatively new to the Discworld novels (~1 year) but so far finished about half of them. A big thank you to you because I didn't know about this game. Thank you! <3
Style-wise "A Vampyre Story" rather reminds me of Tim Burton movies.

Huh ... didn't even know there was a kickstarter for a sequel.
I haven't played this but I like The Curse of Monkey Island's art direction so I've been meaning to try it someday.
P.S. I've read a bit about the kickstarter and it seems it was for creating an episodic prequel (A Vampyre Story: Year One). The sequel's rights (A Vampyre Story 2: A Bat's Tale) are still owned by the publisher. Sad :(.
