Multiple support members have already addressed the issue of agreeing to delete giveaways. Giveaway creators cannot create their own rules or stipulations about being able to enter a public giveaway and nothing written in description can override the rules of the site. Any user that has the ability to enter this can enter and does not have to agree to anything written in the description. If the key does not work, the winner has the choice to mark it as not received if they want to and support will not approve deleting the giveaway without first getting permission from the winner.

I don't have a problem with deleting the giveaway and I think most people will agree to delete the giveaway, but if they do not, having a not received on your account is not a big deal. In the past we didn't delete every giveaway that had a problem and it wasn't a big deal.

If you think there is a chance the key will not work, there are a couple groups made specifically for this where the group rules state that the giveaway creator must agree to delete the giveaway or they will be kicked from the group. That is allowed because it is a rule for the group and only people that are in the group can enter the giveaway.

Be careful of using HB gift links as they can restrict/disable your account when they think you are abusing this system in any way. They have punished people who used it as intended (friends and family, small circle). Keys are always the better option.
