a) I walk … sometimes I see stray animals and save them

When I travel abroad, it's usually walking (except getting there of course). I recently bought a FitBit Zip pedometer and discovered I walk about 12,000 steps on a typical day, traveling in urban places. I guess it's likely to be more in nature, but haven't had such a trip since I bought the Zip.

I get to work by car, even though the distance is very much suitable for cycling. I do occasionally bike offroad for recreation.

I take the bus / tramway, but sometimes when I get back home I walk.

Mostly a, but sometimes I hitch a ride in the TARDIS and save the universe.
