I didn't know that Peter Molyneux was involved. I remember playing "Black & White" back in the day. Similar theme and also somewhat disappointing game.
Yeah, that's why it has got that bad reviews. Molyneux was promising a lot, showing big "demos" and so on. And in the end it's not similar to his original promises at all.
And I'd love to play in B&W 3 (if it'd be made really good).
He took a lot of money from Kickstarter and Steam Early Access sales to deliver an app store port. He promised the new age Black and White mixed with Populous and some cool new toys and whistles and features, he delivered us something that Zynga would make. That's why this game has a lot of low reviews and is not favored by many early players and backers.
I have this game, is not bad, but it had (when i played it 8 months ago) a lot of waiting time, it feels like a movil pay to win game, i hope it gets better.
